He Gave us Prayer
Jesus spent long hours teaching His disciples. He was careful to see that they received instructions
in all things. He included many points in the Sermon on the Mount, among them, prayer. He gave the world
a model prayer when He said, "Pray them like this; Our Father who art in heaven..." The Bible tells that Jesus spent much
time in prayer Himself. On another occasion when Jesus was talking to His disciples, He said,"Truly, truly I say to
you, if you ask anything of the Father, he will give it to you in my name...Ask and you will receive,that your joy may be
full."
